Kota | November 2019 | To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Society Has Eve SHE, Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti, and Uni Culture Trust of India UTI organised all religion prayer at 5:30 pm in the evening on the heart of Kota city at Kishore Sagar Talab’s Barahdari in which during his two-days Kota’s visit Dr. S. N. Subbarao popularly known as Bhai Ji, a famous 92 years veteran Gandhian thinker performed world’s 11 religions prayer and Bharat Ki Santan directed by Dr. Nidhi Prajapati to showcase the integrity and unity of colourful, wonderful India which lies in its diversity.
The chief guest of the programme was Vardhman Mahaveer Open University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ratan Lal Godhra, Pankaj Mehta the coordinator of Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti presided the function and Additional S.P. of Anti-Terrorist Force Himmat Singh, Dr. Rakesh Director of Shri Ram Blood Bank, Kota and Dr. Kirti Singh, Additional Director of School of Education, Vardhman Mahaveer Open University were special guest.
First of all Dr. Subbarao prayed for the world’s popular religions like Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Zoroastrian, Buddhist, Bahá’í, Judaism, Sinto, Tao etc. with meditations then Bhai Ji sang the 18 languages on which children of Kota Bal Senior Secondary School presented Bharat Ki Santan which give a message to the nation that inspite of religion, caste, costumes, languages diversity we are living with peace, love, affection harmony unity and integrity. It started with Sanskrit, the oldest language in the world followed by Manipuri, Assamese, Kashmiri, Gujarati, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Sindhi, Oriya, Nepali, Konkani, Urdu, Kannada, Punjabi, Tamil, and finally national language of India Hindi. Dr. Subbarao said that there is no such country in the world which can be compared to India as India is the only country where despite so much diversity it remains in unity. On this auspicious occasion many dignitaries including Pankaj Sharma, Manjula Sharma, Neetu Mehta Bhatnagar, Shobha Kanwar, Ritika, Dr. R.C. Sahni, Dr. Gopal Singh Dhakad, Malti Sharma, Nand Singh Panwar and Gaurav Bhatnagar were presented to grace the function.
